craziness strikes!

hello! hello! i miss this ol' blog space. although it is read by few it turned into a bit of a journal, and today is a lovely and exciting reunion. much has happened lately.

first there was winter break. i officially discovered why so many people loathe the holidays. there was much family, lebn, and best friend drama. it was nothing resembling a break, which was oh so disappointing. i was frighteningly excited about returning to walla walla because i thought it would offer the perfect, quiet remnants of a break.

however, i returned and promptly began a 10 day wilderness first responder course. we worked from 8-5 each day (two days we actually worked from 8-10). so, there was little time to relax and mellow. i did, however, finish The Golden Compass. and, it was a delightful and fabulous fantasy novel. i loved it. i also spent these days moving into my new house and applying to graduate schools...yuck. but, it's done!

two days later school started. my classes are all really neat, well, except "social problems" (an introductory sociology class that i am taking to fulfill my last few credits of distribution. printmaking is a riot. i know practically everyone in the class, and we giggled pretty much the entire first day. digital media is fabulous as well. we picked a website, it's called www.urglu.com (you are glue), and it will start becoming more interesting soon. also: i love being in a science class again, it's really refreshing.

here is a recap of my most exciting day so far:

1. classes
2. i got hit by a car...don't worry they had rolled past a stop sign, so they weren't going very fast, and i kinda just bounced a little and yelped like a kicked puppy, but it didn't hurt, it just scared me a bit.
3. watched the oc (it was horrible maggie, i don't care what you say. the third season is totally lame)
4. found a 20 dollar bill on the walk home
5. talked to shannon about how crazy life is.
6. made snickerdoodles. nice and buttery and warm...mmmmm.

yup, it was pretty crazy.

both shannon and meredith have been seriously hit by cars, so it was my time. i would say i got off pretty easy. not a scratch!

awesome, well, i should do something productive.

thanks for listening!
