i'm one nomadic lady

so, last night i slept at my new house for the first time ever. on sunday a bunch of cool folks came over and helped me erect my yurt in the backyard of the kitten shak. it was a success for sure, but i still need to work on the floor. right now it's nothing but exposed pallets...not so fancy.

as i sat in bed this morning, in, yet again, a new address i tried to count the number of locations i've lived in the past 4 years. it turned out that in the past 4 years i've lived in FOURTEEN different housing situations! 14!! that's crazy. i haven't stayed in one place for more than a year since high school. when will this madness stop? or will it ever!?! i just get antsy if i stay in one place for very long...

the 'yurt raising work party' was awesome. it was beautiful out, we finished everything i could have wished for, and we even broke out the bbq. thanks to everybody that came out. i now have a house!
