mooncake rebellion

mooncake rebellion (the most delightful theme camp on the playa) was kind enough to take in this jolly camp refugee for this years burn. i was associated to the camp through shawnie, a fellow bicycle maniac from portland. i really didn't know anyone in camp, aside from a few portland encounters, before we arrived on the playa. by the end i was smitten. i've fallen in love with each and every individual...repeatedly.

how i've managed to actually move away from these darlings is beyond me.

this photo is a shot of our shade structure/teahouse. a magical miracle in itself. i slept up top, in the loft, practically every night. it was always full of air matresses, blankets, pillows, and cuddle buddies. every night was a giant camp cuddle puddle. i loved it. tents were abandoned for the glory of the loft. i've truly come to understand how some people never leave camp after experiencing such a wonderful and elaborate space and the phenomenal lovies at the mooncake rebellion.

i'm a lifer. those folks couldn't shake me if they tried.
