like on days i get to see the 900 megahertz NMR at UCSF. laura and i headed up to a chemical biology conference and my buddy joe (who is a grad student at ucsf) showed us all their rooms of amazing instrumentation, housed in genentech hall (big money, big money, BIG MONEY!).

the conference was pretty cool. can't argue with free food, free coffee mugs, and free booze. not to mention some rad science talks. good times were had by all.
