coming down from spring.

so, it's spring, whatever, not so new to those of us in the southern half of this coast. however, all you portland folks should keep on riding that high! it's an old bag here in santa cruz, now people complain when it isn't 80 degrees with clear, sunny skies.


anyhow, here is a funny update:

1. yesterday i got the most awesome mail i've ever recieved. a first class package from BLUBLOCKER, containing my first pair of blublocker aviators. while i was flying back from richmond, va (spring break trip) i met this rad dude named geoff. we talked the entire flight, i gave him some zines and stickers, we giggled about driving across the country, and geeked out about science. by the end he said, "you have got to try BLUBLOCKERS! i'll send you some!"

thus, now i own the sweetest glasses around. i'm, in fact, wearing them right now!

2. two nights ago i had a super crazy dream. i was lying in bed (in the dream) staring at the ceiling, and observing how fucking strange it was. it was flickering between it's typical flat white and a bubbling, boiling mess. it almost looked like an abstract sea of octopus tentacles slithering and knotting together. these two states continued to glitch back and forth. suddenly i got an overwhelming premonition that this trippy ceiling was going to collapse onto me, and i dove, head first, into my wall. my head hit so hard that it woke up mike, next to me. i woke up confused and in pain right after the collision. my head hurt so hard that it was hard to think much about the circumstances that led up to the event. but, later that day i definitely felt the bump and giggled for a good 30 minutes.
